What We Do

We Catalyze and Resource Movements of Prayer, Mission and Justice In Grand Rapids and the Great Lakes region.

PRAYER is how we grow in friendship with God, partner with his Spirit, and are filled with his love. We cultivate prayer as a central practice that guides and empowers our life and mission.

We SUSTAIN rhythms of weekly, monthly, and seasonal prayer.

We INVITE friends, neighbors and churches around the city to experience the joy and power of encountering God in prayer.

We MOBILIZE the church to pray by resourcing and engaging in citywide initiatives, offering practical guides, and sharing inspiring stories of how ordinary people today are encountering God in extraordinary ways.

We partner with the churches and ministries to impact our Cities and bring Kingdom Transformation.

The church in a city or a region is an extended family, and we believe that when when churches realize we need each other and come together in prayer, friendship and unity—the power of God’s Kingdom will be released and our efforts to love our city together will be multiplied in impact.

 Regional - Great Lakes Region

BUILDING BRIDGES of relationship to SUPPORT PRAYER MOVEMENTS around the GREAT LAKES REGION (MN, WI, IL, IN, OH, and MI) - We’ve been at this for a while, and recently have discovered that God is raising up more grassroots prayer movements around the the GLR. Tim has taken up the role as Regional Coordinator within 24-7 USA in order to give leadership to this level within the movement—which means there are lots of video chats with city coordinators, site visits, and gatherings of community leaders to support, encourage, dream, and pray for one another.

SHARING STORIES - We share testimonies of God’s work on the blog and social media because believe BEARING WITNESS to the ways God is moving TODAY is so important. These stories of prayer in the movement are powerful and often involve ordinary people encountering extraordinary movements of God. They encourage us that God is PRESENT and ACTIVE, and spark new movements when we answer the challenge of “What if WE prayed?”
